House of March: Sleep Better, Live Better

At House of March, we believe great sleep starts with the sheets you rest on. Our collections combine long-staple organic cotton, ethical craftsmanship, and timeless design — so every night feels indulgent and every morning starts refreshed.

Founder

Our founder, Lisa Knowler, asked a simple question: Why settle for bedding that doesn’t feel as good as it should?

After studying fashion design, Lisa spent over a decade in London, working with major brands and as a stylist in the city’s vibrant creative scene. It was there she discovered luxurious bedding that transforms sleep into comfort.

Returning to New Zealand to start a family, Lisa wanted to detox her home of harmful chemicals. She found most sheets and duvets are treated with toxins to prevent wrinkling — and knew there had to be a better way.

The House of March Difference

Lisa’s textile expertise led her to long-staple organic cotton, prized for its silky softness, durability, and breathability. Each sheet, duvet, and pillowcase is:

  • Chemical-free & safe — gentle for skin, family, and environment

  • Ethically made — Fairtrade-certified production and sustainable practices

  • Luxuriously soft & long-lasting — crafted for everyday indulgence

We carefully design bedding that is timeless, mix-and-matchable, and built to last, so your bedroom is both beautiful and responsible.
